Chief Marketing & Sales officer
Josh Garber serves as Chief Marketing & Sales Officer for the Murphy Companies who joined in Juned 2025. A fifth-generation Murphy family member, Josh is actively involved in stewarding the business into its next era of growth while honoring its longstanding heritage.
Before joining Murphy, Josh held senior leadership roles at F45 Training—including Vice President of Global Brands, Global Head of Brand, and Brand Director—where he worked across the sales process and collaborated with cross-functional teams to align marketing, operations, and franchise development. During his tenure, he helped nearly double F45’s global studio footprint, grow its customer base through innovative membership strategies, and launch two additional fitness brands, FS8 and Vaura, expanding the company’s international reach. He began his career in live broadcast and branded content at the World Surf League, where he built expertise in storytelling, production, and digital engagement.
At Murphy, Josh integrates his creative foundation with a commercial focus, leading marketing and sales efforts that expand market reach, strengthen customer partnerships, and position the company for long-term growth. Josh brings with him a background in scaling brands/companies through solutions across all fronts.
Josh holds a Bachelor’s degree from Pepperdine University and served on the Murphy Family Council (an elected position) for seven years prior to joining the organization in a full-time capacity.
