Murphy Teams Up with Local Non-Profit & Minnesota Vikings!

“Our vision is to be an amazing logistics provider that is admired and trusted by our employees, partners and community.” – Richard T. Murphy Jr.

Murphy Warehouse Company has worked with companies from start ups to Fortune 500’s, local clients to multi-national and everything in between. We do our best to handle every client’s needs with the care and precision that their customers require.

Every once in a while we work on projects that are a little bit different.

Over the past weekend we had the opportunity to work with a local non-profit named MATTER, with the mission “to expand access to health, next door and around the World,” as well as another local business you may have heard of… The Minnesota Vikings and the Vikings Women Community!

MATTER teamed up with the Minnesota Vikings to host a food packaging event at their annual Training Camp at Minnesota State Mankato University. Murphy transported a truckload of food and packaging materials to the facility, dropped a trailer over the weekend and transported delivery back to Matter’s facility. While in Mankato, the Matter team worked with Vikings fans attending camp to pack MATTERboxes, each filled with enough food to provide 16 meals for local families!

Vikings players and cheerleaders joined in the effort as well, packing a MATTERbox as they left the practice field.

In all, a record 1385 MATTERboxes or 22,160 healthy meals were packed by fans, players and cheerleaders to donate to local Minnesota children and families in need.

This project was an amazing opportunity to see what can be done when people come together for the greater good!
